The right time to begin your fight against Alzheimer’s disease is long before Alzheimer’s starts to set in. Some researches of the disease say prevention should start at least 10 years before the typical age Alzheimer’s sets in and is noticeable. Prevention is always better than a cure.
Most research states there is no cure for diseases of the brain such as Alzheimer’s, and there is no rock solid studies that show you can prevent Alzheimer’s from happening. However, there have been studies that validate some evidence of a lower risk of Alzheimer’s in people who eat well, exercise, control vascular risk factors, limit alcohol consumption, avoid smoking, participate in cognitive exercises, and many other things one can do to minimize the probability of the disease.
