Why should people over 50 start working on balance exercises. Because as we get older we start to lose balance which is why so many elderly fall and break their bones. Not only are the bones weaker and more fragile (susceptible to breaks) but their odds of falling increases tremendously if your balance is compromised. If you start working on balance exercises before you start to lose your balance you increase your odds your balance will remain further into your old age. Balance exercises are not typically strenuous and can easily be done without leaving your home or spending any of your income.
